WHY ARGENTINA?

In early 2024, a wave of founders, builders, investors, and policy leaders converged around a bold question: what if Argentina became the world’s first crypto nation? Spontaneous conversations turned into working groups, proposals, and programs. Builders from across the country and the world joined in, with the conviction that this moment is different.

Why Argentina? Because Argentina is the only country in the world that combines both bottom up adoption, with around 10% of the population using crypto, with top-down support with leading regulators literally saying “we are in favour of crypto and want to support it”.

Crecimiento is here to leverage this unique opportunity. By empowering startups, Crecimiento will fix massive economic and provide financial prosperity to millions. Such a powerful vision got together key Argentinian talent’s including leaders from Lemon, Ripio, belo, Lambda Class, Open Zeppelin, POAP, Kleros, Wonderland, Quark ID and several web2 unicorns founders.

In less than a year of existence, the movement has already activated +5,000 people through different activations, including pop up cities, accelerators, hackathons, bootcamps and hacker houses.
