There is a premise behind the pop up cities: when a community shares one place for weeks, collaboration intensifies and projects move faster than through isolated gatherings. A conference lasts a few days of agenda; a pop-up city is a temporary community that stretches over time, a living lab where coexistence accelerates the work.

Aleph is Crecimiento's pop-up city: a month-long event in Buenos Aires that gathers the local and international ecosystem under one roof to work and live together. The agenda combines what Crecimiento organizes (hackathons, summits, demo days, workshops, thematic days, builder residencies) with the events proposed by the community itself, which generates a good part of the programming in every edition. Builders, founders, developers, investors, international partners, regulators and the local community all take part.

The community in a working circle during Aleph

The name comes from the Borges short story: a single point that contains all others. It is also the synthesis of its official tagline, "a single point for the entire builder universe". The format is inspired by Zuzalu, the crypto ecosystem's first pop-up city, and Aleph was its first implementation in Argentina.

There have been five editions so far. Aleph Ciudad de Crecimiento (August 2024) founded the movement. Aleph de Verano (December 2024) proved the format could be sustained, with more than one hundred speakers across two weeks. Aleph March '25 put startups at the center. Aleph Festival (2025) stretched the format across three months and led into Devconnect Buenos Aires. And Aleph March '26 opened the game beyond crypto, with four thematic weeks that added AI, biotech and robotics.

The results back the premise: more than 10,000 participants and more than 1,000 startups have come through its five editions, with speakers like Vitalik Buterin, mentors from all over the world, and the support of protocols and companies like Protocol Labs, the Ethereum Foundation, Avalanche, ZKsync, Polygon, Optimism, Solana and Fiserv. Recent editions drew coverage from the country's leading media outlets.

Aleph is also the gateway to the rest of the Crecimiento ecosystem: the Aleph Hackathon is a central part of every edition, the acceleration programs usually kick off at its close, and Regulation Day and the technical summits are concentrated within the pop-up. The rest of the year, the ecosystem builds. One month a year, it gathers to build under the same roof.
