Why Rosario
Since 2024, Crecimiento has built a network of builders, startups, companies and institutions from Buenos Aires to drive Argentina's tech ecosystem forward. More than 15,000 people and more than 1,000 startups have passed through that network. The next step is for the network to grow across the whole country, with strong local communities backed by it. Rosario is the first stop on that path.
The region holds one of the most important economies in the country. Around 75% of Argentina's agro-industrial output ships through Greater Rosario, the Rosario Board of Trade has set the reference prices for grain since 1884, and the industrial belt employs more than 87,000 people in 3,000 factories. On top of that base, a new technology layer is growing, with agtech companies already selling technology to the field, biotech companies exporting from the city, capital markets working on tokenization, top universities and a growing community of builders.
Aleph Rosario aims to bring that talent together with the companies that need its solutions, so that the next startup to transform Argentine industry is born in the region.
Friday 27, the conference
The conference brings into the same room the people who build technology and the companies and institutions that lead the region's industry, from the agro-industrial hub, banks, fintechs and capital markets to universities, startups and communities.
The day has seven panels on agtech, biotech, fintech, tokenization, artificial intelligence, education and regulation. The conversation will cover the startups already selling to the agro-industrial hub, what is being tokenized today and what Rosario could tokenize, how to train the builders the city needs, and the regulatory framework the ecosystem requires to grow.
Admission is free and the Crecimiento team approves each request. Partner communities can request codes for priority approval.
Saturday 28, Aleph Hackathon Rosario
For the first time, the Aleph Hackathon is built around a regional economy. Agro companies from the region set real challenges, one per track, and teams have a full day to turn them into solutions, supported by technical mentors. At the close, each team presents its project to the jury. Winning projects continue with mentorship and direct contact with the company behind the challenge.
The call is open to students, developers, designers and professionals from agro, engineering, data and AI, including people joining a hackathon for the first time. Teams can have up to four members, with at least one on site, and the rest can join remotely. Tracks will be announced before the event.
This edition opens a series of regional hackathons that Crecimiento will bring to other parts of the country.
Companies that want to set a challenge or support Aleph Rosario can join as sponsors.
