On August 22 and 23, the Aleph Hackathon runs its sixth edition, once again with independent chapters across Argentina and Latin America — and fully online — everyone on the same timeline and in front of the same jury.

Five editions in
The Aleph Hackathon was born in August 2024, inside the first Aleph pop-up city, and it hasn't stopped growing since: across five editions, more than 3,000 hackers have shipped hundreds of projects through it. The August 2025 edition became the largest hackathon in Latin America by participation, and the first to run through a distributed network of local chapters instead of a single room. March 2026 pushed the model further, reaching 12 chapters across 5 countries. Every edition since August 2025 has been global.
Support before and during the event
Two days is a short window, so the support structure starts before the hackathon opens.
- Mentor directory. Dozens of experienced mentors organized by area of expertise, ecosystem, and language, available for office hours throughout the weekend.
- Partner workshops. Technical sessions run by sponsors and ecosystem partners, designed for participants at every level of experience.
- Community channels. The hackathon Telegram is where teams form, questions get answered, and chapters coordinate with each other.
- Streamed ceremonies. Opening and closing are broadcast on X and YouTube, so builders in every chapter start and finish together.
The chapter model
A chapter is a local hub that runs the Aleph Hackathon in its own city. Universities, coworking spaces, hacker houses, and community hubs open their doors for the weekend and host builders locally, while staying fully integrated into the main structure: same challenges, same submission deadline, same judging, same prize pool.
Chapters are organized by the communities themselves. They know their city, they know who builds there, and they handle the local experience. What Crecimiento provides is the shared layer that connects all of them: the challenges, the mentors, the jury, the streams, and the prizes.
Behind the model there is a simple intention: making the hackathon federal. Talent is everywhere — in universities, hacker houses and communities across Argentina and the region — and the chapter network exists so builders can participate at the same level wherever they are, without having to move to Buenos Aires.
The result is that a builder in Cuenca, Ikorodu, or La Plata gets the same access as anyone else hacking that weekend. And because the hackathon also runs fully online, anyone without a chapter nearby can register and participate under the exact same conditions.
Part of Aleph Week
Aleph Week runs August 18 to 23 in Buenos Aires and brings together two distinct audiences.
- August 20 and 21: LATAM Digital Assets Conf. Two days with banks, fintechs, exchanges, funds, and regulators discussing payments, security and tokenization adoption across the region.
- August 21: Startup World Cup. Crecimiento's startup competition, built to put founders in front of the funds that can take them further.
- August 22 and 23: Aleph Hackathon. The builder side of the same week, where those ideas get turned into working products.
Each event is independent and requires its own registration, though many people attend more than one.
How to join
As a hacker. Registration is open to developers, designers, students, founders, researchers, and anyone who wants to ship something real in two days. You can join through a chapter in your city or hack fully online.
