The Startup World Cup is Crecimiento's startup competition: the meeting point between startups and the funds and institutions of the ecosystem. This year it returns: on August 21, at Aleph Hub in Buenos Aires, ten teams present their projects in front of funds that invest in Argentina, right after the LATAM Digital Assets Conf closes.

If you have something to show, this is your stage. Applications close on August 19.

This edition's format

Ten teams, a panel of investors, and questions after each pitch. The session is open to everyone attending the LATAM Digital Assets Conf, and the room stays open afterward for conversations between founders and investors.

Held in November during Devconnect, the first edition gathered 219 startups from more than 40 countries. The 12 finalists pitched on the main stage of La Rural in front of a panel with representatives of funds like Pantera Capital, Dragonfly, Variant, Franklin Templeton and CoinFund. Peanut took the title.

The Startup World Cup is the final stage of Crecimiento's builder funnel. Hackathons bring new projects in, Acceleration Seasons give teams structure and mentorship, and the Startup World Cup puts them in front of investors. You don't need to have gone through any other program first: applications are open to anyone with something to show.
